Guide
F2P – If you're not using the Kingshot Optimizer, there’s a clear upgrade guide and Mithril progression explained here, which you can adapt to your needs.
Gear Progression Guide (source Reddit) We will upgrade in 4 phases, focusing on balance first, then pushing into red gear while prioritizing the +20 boost pieces.
Mastery forging is included in the plan for maximum efficiency.
Phase 1 – Baseline Push
Infantry Health → Chest & Gloves to 100
Archer Lethality → Helmet & Boots to 100
Cavalry Lethality → Helmet & Boots to 100
Infantry Lethality → Helmet & Boots to 50
Archer Health → Chest & Gloves to 50
Cavalry Health → Chest & Gloves to 50
Mastery Forging Rule (Phase 1):
• Keep all pieces at Level 5 Mastery until they reach Level 100
• At Level 100, raise mastery forging to Level 10 and stop there (unless pushing to red later)
Phase 2 – Advance Core to Red (+20 Priority Order)
Infantry Gloves → red gear +39
Archer Helmet → red gear +39
Cavalry Helmet → red gear +39
Infantry Chest → red gear +19
Archer Boots → red gear +19
Cavalry Boots → red gear +19
Mastery Forging Rule (Phase 2):
• For pieces going to +19 or +39, raise mastery forging to Level 11
• Continue leveling mastery as needed to progress further down the red path
Phase 3 – Advance Secondary to 100
Infantry Lethality → Helmet & Boots to 100
Archer Health → Chest & Gloves to 100 (do not red gear)
Cavalry Health → Chest & Gloves to 100 (do not red gear)
Mastery Forging Rule (Phase 3):
• Same as Phase 1 → keep all non-red pieces at Level 5 Mastery until they reach 100, then forge to Level 10 and stop
Phase 4 – Finalize Reds for Secondary (+20 Priority Order)
Infantry Gloves → red gear +39
Archer Helmet → red gear +39
Cavalry Helmet → red gear +39
Infantry Chest → red gear +19
Archer Boots → red gear +19
Cavalry Boots → red gear +19
⚠ Archer & Cavalry Health remain capped at 100, no red gear beyond this
Mastery Forging Rule (Phase 4):
• For red upgrades, mastery forging goes to Level 11 minimum
• Keep advancing mastery as needed to reach +19 and +39 targets
Key Notes
• Always finish baseline (100/50) before pushing red gear
• Push +39 pieces first (gloves & helmets) since they give better boosts
• Mastery forging should stay low (Lv5) until gear reaches 100
• At 100, push to Lv10 — only red-path gear goes to Lv11+
• This ensures efficient use of both resources and hammers.
You will start using Mithril when you upgrade your Red Gear from level +19 to level +20. It is a very rare material. Make sure to buy it in the trial shop every week and exchange your items for it during events.
